OUR STORY

HOW CHILLUP BEGAN

The journey of ChillUP began with a coffee morning conversation between 2 frustrated mums. As mums, we struggle to keep our kids happy and content from time to time. Especially when there was not a single tool or platform out there to help make parenting life easier. We were all depend on social media, or friends to find things to do for our kids. And we use note books, google calendar, white board... to help organize all the activities. Everyone I know was struggling. From that moment I knew that something was missing, the idea of having an app for all parents started to form.

Driven by the belief that we weren't alone in this struggle, I poured my hearts and souls into the project, spending countless hours sketching, refining, and perfecting every detail. After more than a year of hard work and dedication, ChillUP was born in early 2022.

ChillUP is not an activity listing app. It's the all-in-one solution, a parent personal assistant that every family needs, and it's changing the way parents approach their daily lives. It’s a MUST HAVE parent app!

Prior to launching ChillUP, I had a successful career as a creative director at a leading design agency in Seef, Bahrain. With over 15 years of experience in graphic and UX design, I've honed my skills in China and Canada before settling in Bahrain.

Creating ChillUP has been a deeply personal journey for me, as a mother of two young children who struggled to keep them entertained and engaged, especially during holidays and school breaks. It was this frustration that led me to create ChillUP - a personal assistant for parents that helps manage busy schedules and find exciting activities for children of all ages. ChillUP is not just a business venture, but a way to make a positive impact on the lives of parents and their families.
